Dean then took a look at the sword Buffy was holding
"Nice sword...have it very long?"

Buffy looked up at Dean and met his eyes, she knew she had to tell him
" Yeah actually... about a Year or so now.. maybe even two... I ahh... I used it to kill Angel"

Dean raised an eyebrow
"Wait...you killed him with that sword, then why do you carry it around if it reminds you of him?"

Buffy bit her lip, she didn't really know whether she should say her answer or not
" I guess its the same reason I didn't throw away the ring he gave me for my 17th birthday..... Because i can't... I can't bring myself to throw away something that has saved my life constantly... Without this sword I would have been dead... the same with Angel... He's saved my life in more ways then one... but I don't love him anymore... but he's still my friend... and I still trust him to watch my back.... Do you get that?"

"Yeah...I got it, maybe we should head out now since I dont think Faith would want you to be late."

Buffy smiled and kissed him before taking his hand and pulling him out the door, Buffy shut it behind them and reached up pulling Dean down to her, she gave him another kiss before pulling away
" I'll see you tomorrow.. Promise?"
Buffy smiled as she nodded and she slowly jogged away leaving him behind and she headed of to join Faith for their patrol

Angel and Buffy had arrived at her dorm
"So...I guess this would be your dorm."

Buffy smiled and nodded, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her keys and stuck them into the whole
She turned but nothing happened, scrunching her eyebrows together Buffy turned the handle and noticed it was already opened, Buffy glanced back at Angel and raised her sword signalling him to get ready
Buffy stepped inside her dorm to come face to face with Spike sitting on her bed smoking a cigarette, Buffy sighed with relief and hurried over to him and wrapped him in a hug
" God i thought something had happened to you...... Ohhh whoops Angel you can come in"
Buffy said when she realised Angel couldn't come inside her dorm

Spike scrawled darkly at Angel behind Buffy's back, he hugged his slayer back and picked up a stake out of his pocket
" What's that Bloody Ponce doing here?"
Spike asked raising the stake towards Angel
" I called your little play mate He's out looking for you... That one cares.. unlike him"

Seening Buffy and Spike in the same room, Angel stepped a few feet back and stood in the hallway
I think its about time i told her
"Um...Buffy, do you think I could talk to you for a bit alone?"

Buffy stepped away from Spike to look at Angel
" What Why? Is something wrong......"
Buffy turned to Spike
" Umm Why dont you go find... ' my little play mate' and tell him im fine.... Ohhh and try and find Faith and make sure she's alright.... GO SPIKE"
Buffy put her hands on her hips and watched as Spike shrugged and walked past the door bumping meanly into Angel as he went, Buffy turned back to Angel and gave him her full attention
" What is it?"

Angel then turned to Buffy and took a deep breath
"Buffy there is another reason I came early to see you."
Angel said as he leaned against the wall with his hands in his pockets
"The night before I arrived here in Sunnydale I had a dream of you and another guy, and I came to make sure you are ok."

Buffy leaned up against the wall and shook her head in disbelief
" Oh my God... I can't believe your saying this to me... You left Angel... You left me, The Scoobies, Sunnydale.... and Now you come back and Pretend like you actually still care.. God how can you be so hypercritical..."
Buffy sighed and ran her hand through her hair, she looked up at Angel
" If you must know... Yes i was with a guy... His names Dean and he's great, He's Human, and Strong and he loves me.... It's not what like you and me had.. its still very new But im Happy... Not even you can change that"

Angel got off the wall and approached Buffy
"That's great. Its nice... you moved on. I cant. You found someone new. I'm not allowed to, remember? I see you again, it cuts me up inside, and the person I share that with is me. You don't know me anymore, so don't come show me your great new life and expect me to do things your way."
Angel said as he began to a walk down the hallway and turned back to Buffy
"If you want to see me again I'll be at my mansion."
