Two Slayers and a Souled Vampire

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy stuck her key into the lock and opened it quickly pulling the door back to let Faith and Angel enter, quickly walking inside and shutting the door behind herself

The Lights were all of so Buffy knew that her mother must be out, Buffy walked into the Lounge room and took a seat on the sofa

" So why exactly didnt Mr Big Bad dust?"

[Faith]

Coz he's not your average Vamp... He had moves B... Moves i didnt even know existed. His different than your average vamp...

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy nodded her head in agreement

" I dont know what to do..... This isnt my field of expertise.. I Slay.. Giles is the one that researches..... We have to find a way to kill this vamp..... Remember he said he had a soul once... Maybe we could get Willow to do a resoulling spell.. like the one she used on Angel... so that it gives him back his soul...."

[Faith]

Faith stared to the floor.
"Not meaning to trample all over your idea and steal your spotlight Buffy, but don't you think thats a bit too easy? I mean i know it worked on your honey, and whatever... But i don't think this one'll get resouled with just some spell..."

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy rolled her eyes

" Angel is not my Honey Faith.... Not anymore.... FYI i've moved on HELLO I have a boyfriend now...... And you werent around when Angelus was here.... It was bad... pretty much the same as it is now... but alot more deaths... We just need to stop him from trying to end the world using ACATHLA"

Buffy said glarring slightly at Angel

[Faith]

Faith rolled her eyes.
"Hey, yeah, fine you're right... I just don't wanna go down with him, okay?"

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy turned her attention back from Angel to her Sister slayer, she flashed Faith a smile

" You wont... Plus Im the Slayer who dies remember.. No way your taking that title away from me........ Ok that seemed alot more funnier in my head"

[Faith]

"Don't even talk like that okay? No one is gonna go down... We just gotta watch each other's backs, 'kay?
She held her hand up for uffy to high 5 her

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy smiled at her Sister Slayer and high fived her, she then turned to Angel

" Angel... Can I count on you to watch our back?"

Buffy added a large emphises on OUR to make sure that it was known that it would be both Buffy and Faith's backs who he would be watching

[Angel]

Angel looked over at Buffy as he leaned against the wall

"Yeah...sure thing Buffy."

Angel said as he started to wonder about that other vampire

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy smiled at her ex boyfriend

" Thankyou"

Buffy suddenly felt a gust of pain and she fell to the ground in agany, the room around the three champions swirled and as Buffy got up from the ground the door opened and the three turned around to see Joyce standing there with Angel standing next to her

" You don't understand, Joyce. I'll die
without Buffy. She'll die without me." Angel stated his voice sounding like it was stricken with pain, Joyce turned and looked at him
" Are you threatening her?" she asked surprised, Angel pouted slightly
" Please... Why is she doing this to me?" Angel took a step towards Joyce who took a step away and lunged at the door with her keys out
" I'm calling the police now." she stated leaving the grocery bag on the ground and putting the keys into the lock as Angel/Angelus comes up next to her.
" I haven't been able to sleep since the night we made love." Angelus stated boldly, Joyce turned to him with a look of surpise and disgust
" I need her. I know you understand." Angelus continued until the door opened and Joyce rushed forward
"Just leave us alone." she said


The scene blurred and changed and Buffy grabbed hold of Angel and Faith pulling them closer towards her as another memory appeared

There stood Buffy and Angel kissing in the cemetary
" Not like I have an early day tomorrow." Angel said planting another kiss on Buffy's lips
" Mm, (kiss) true. (they walk) I still have to go home and fill
out my egg diary." Buffy said getting a strange look from Angel
" Your what?"
" Oh, I told you, that faux parenting gig we're doing at school.
(turns to face him) Like I'm really planning to have kids anytime soon. Uh, maybe *some*day, in the future, when I'm done having a life, but... right now kids would be just a little too much to deal with." Buffy said putting her hand through Angels
" I wouldn't know. (looks at her) I don't... Well, you know, I, I
can't." Angel mummbled out awakardly
"Oh. (looks away briefly, then back) That's okay, um... I-I
figured there were all sorts of things vampires couldn't do. You know, like work for the Telephone Company, or volunteer for the Red Cross,or... have little vampires." Buffy said completely sincenerly smiling up at Angel
" So you don't think about the future?"
" No."
"Never?"
" No."
" (swallows) You really don't care what happens a year from now? Five years from now?" Angel stuttered out causing Buffy to let out an awkward smile
" Angel, when I look into the future, a-a... all I see is you! All
I want is you." Buffy spoke up to him looking into his eyes
" I know the feeling." Angel replied and they both leaned in for a kiss


The scene returned back to Buffy's living room

" What the hell was that?"

[Faith]

Faith, looking digusted at the scene, looked between them both.
"Freaky Road Trip... Man, so it was definately WAY more than lust... Why didn't ya tell me B?"

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy rolled her eyes at Faith

" Because it didnt come up in conversation.... What's happening?... Why are we suddenly experiancing memories?"

Suddenly the room swirled again and the Three Champions stood outside in an Alley looking at a Vampire holding Faith

Faith does a
jumping roundhouse kick to the Vamps face, knocking him to the pavement. Buffy comes running up. Faith notices her and approaches , smiling.
" It's okay, I got it. You're, uh, Buffy, right?"
Buffy is taken aback. Just as she's about to answer, the vampire comes up behind the girl and grabs her by the shoulders. She snaps her head back to head butt him in the face and grabs onto his arm.
" I'm Faith."
She twists the vampire around and shoves him into the section of chain link fence.
" I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there's a new Slayer
in town." Oz commented to Willow who nodded in agreement.
Faith knees him in the gut from behind. The vamp whirls around and tries to backhand punch her, but she easily ducks it. She punches him in the gut and then again in the face. Everyone just watches her fight. Xander follows her moves with jerks of his head. She does a high side kick to the vampire's jaw, grabs onto his shirt and neck and throws him to the ground. The vamp does a no-hand front roll to control his fall while Faith reaches over to Buffy for the stake and jerks it from her hand.
" Can I borrow that?" She asked
The vampire uses the momentum of his roll to get back to his feet and runs at Faith, throwing a punch as he comes. She ducks it, hooks her hand on his shoulder, turns him around and pushes him back into the fence. She raises the stake and jams it cleanly into his chest and jerks it back out. The vampire instantly crumbles into ashes. Buffy stares in confused amazement. Faith faces her and hands her back the stake.
" Thanks, B. Couldn't have done it without you." Faith said nodding her head at Buffy.
She just continues walking past them all. Buffy turns to stare after her, unsure how to react.


Buffy flashed Faith an awkward smile as the scene changed again

Angel slowly starts to go towards Buffy, and changes to his human face. He stops in front of her. She looks up at him, not knowing what to expect. After a long and intense look he
finally speaks.
" Buffy?" he asks
Angel falls to his knees and holds her tightly. Buffy is surprised by this turn of events and isn't sure what to do. Angel just keeps holding her even tighter and starts to sob into her jacket.
" Buffy..." he says again
Buffy finally seems to accept that he's back and sheds a few tears. Her head and heart are too heavy with thoughts and emotions for her to speak.

Buffy gripped Angel's hand tightly as the scene changed again

There stood Joyce and Angel
" That's not all I'm concerned about. I don't have to tell you that you and Buffy are from different worlds. " Joyce commented
Angel nodded " No, you don't. "
" She's had to deal with a lot. Grew up fast. Sometimes even I forget that she's still just a girl. " Joyce said her voice trailing of
" I'm old enough to be her ancestor. " Angel muttered almost silently
" She's just starting out in life. " Joyce coached and Angel nodded his eyes full of thought
" I know. I think about it more now that she's staying in Sunnydale. "
Joyce smiled slightly " Good. Because when it comes to you, Angel, she's just like any other young woman in love. You're all she can see of tomorrow. But I think we both know that there are some hard choices ahead. If she can't make them, you're gonna have to. I know you care about her. I just hope you care enough." Joyce finished and let herself out of the mansion

Buffy turned to Angel and looked at him in disbelief

" Why didnt you tell me she said that?"

[Angel]

Angel looked at Buffy

"I didnt know how you would act if I told you Buffy."

[Buffy Summers]

Before Buffy could reply the scene changed again and the house shifted to the scene of Buffy's dorm

Buffy and Angel stood in her dorm
"The night before I arrived here in Sunnydale I had a dream of you and another guy, and I came to make sure you are ok." Angel stuttered out
Buffy leaned up against the wall and shook her head in disbelief
" Oh my God... I can't believe your saying this to me... You left Angel... You left me, The Scoobies, Sunnydale.... and Now you come back and Pretend like you actually still care.. God how can you be so hypercritical..." Buffy said
She sighed and ran her hand through her hair, she looked up at Angel " If you must know... Yes i was with a guy... His names Dean and he's great, He's Human, and Strong and he loves me.... It's not what like you and me had.. its still very new But im Happy... Not even you can change that" Buffy said .
Angel got off the wall and approached Buffy
"That's great. Its nice... you moved on. I cant. You found someone new. I'm not allowed to, remember? I see you again, it cuts me up inside, and the person I share that with is me. You don't know me anymore, so don't come show me your great new life and expect me to do things your way." Angel said and turned to leave, Buffy grabbed Angel's arm and stopped him from moving, she looked at him hard
" You don't know me anymore, so don't come down here with your I'm gonna save Buffy cause she 'needs me' attitude and expect me to do things your way. Go home. I dont need you anymore Angel..." Buffy shouted her face stern. Angel didn't say a word as he grabbed Buffy's hand and took it off his coat
"I'm sorry I came to see you then Buffy, I truly am." Angel muttered, Buffy felt extremely mad, she took a couple of steps back and launched herself at Angel knocking him down to the ground
" I'm not the kinda girl who likes to TALK things out... SO this is payback for leaving me when i needed you the most" she shouted and began punching Angel furiously with all her might, eventually Angel grabbed her arms and Buffy collapsed crying into his arms


Buffy sighed slightly and lent her head on Angel's shoulder, that was an incredibly new memory, the scene shifted and a single voice rose through the lounge room

Passion, It lies in all of us, Sleeping... Waiting, And though unwanted, unbidden it will stir.. open its jaws and howel. Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of love... the clarity of hatred... and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know
some kind of peace. But we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank... Without Passion we would truely be Dead....


Buffy bit back a tear as she heard Angelus's voice sounding out through the lounge room
